Diversity Café
Diversity Café is a structured meeting design that enables real conversations among a group of people who want to explore the meaning and possibility of their diversity.  The design is series of 3-5 facilitated short meetings. Developed in a school community where people of very different backgrounds—racial, cultural, religious, socioeconomic, worldview, and more—very rarely spoke about their differences outside their own interest groups, Diversity Café creates shared experiences for people to have eye-opening conversations and to take unified action. Through this safe forum for people young and old to share truths, hear each others’, question assumptions, each person leaves with expanded awareness. Often, groups are inspired to take action together—to enhance the experience of their community’s diversity or to close gaps.

The McCormick Employee Engagement Process
The McCormick Employee Engagement Process© (MEEP) marries quantitative methodology and dialogue methods to optimize workplace culture productivity and profitability.
Unlike traditional one-way survey approaches, this process turns survey results analysis and action planning over to employees and managers jointly through whole system feedback and action meetings.  It becomes everyone’s accountability to create a more engaged workplace, and the survey process becomes the catalyst for the work and a real opportunity for engagement. Supervisor Circles
Supervisor Circles gives your new and experienced managers the grounding they need to do lead in today’s complex workplace. The first part of this two-part approach teaches the fundamental skills supervisors need to lead a diverse workforce in a fast-paced workplace. These half-day workshops can be offered to all supervisors at all levels, thereby developing a shared vocabulary and knowledge base, as well as fundamental skills.

In the second part, Peer Circles bring a higher level of supervisory skills to a subset of the larger group.  The members the Supervisor Circle come together periodically to deepen their learning and create a “community of practice” to reinforce the desired culture and to pay particular focus on issues of importance, whether it’s employee retention, safety, customer-centered work or quality. The curriculum is grounded in actual work stories, and Circle participants use the frameworks we introduce to practice new skills on the job.

SpeakUp!
SpeakUp! is an innovative one-day meeting design that brings together large numbers of youth, educators and parents to talk about issues of importance to them – issues like drugs and alcohol, eating disorders, leadership and sex and AIDS. In addition, these important conversations lead to changes in attitudes and relationships and action to make a difference. Over 2000 people have been involved in SpeakUp! conferences to date. Family Night
(and other parent leadership resources). InSyte has developed several substantial resources for parent engagement in the education process. Among them are a set of “facilitator-ready” materials to help parents understand their role as partners in education and navigate complex urban school systems. Modules are organized around issues parents care about and need to understand in short chunks of time (between 1 and 4 hours) to accommodate family schedules.

And, InSyte is proud to introduce these new offerings!!

Cross-Functional Team Synergy Workshops help organizations break down organizational silos and enhance their ability to work for the benefit of the whole.  Often work groups develop "organizational blinders" that inhibit their ability to see beyond their own immediate goals.  This work helps groups hold critical conversations and see their own processes and practice from a different vantage point.

Discovering your Emergent Future
This series of three full day workshops (with time in between each) is structured to help individuals or teams “uncover the future that wants to happen” for them. Based on the “U process” developed by Otto Scharmer of MIT and others, it guides participants through a journey of discovery – from observation, through reflection toward realization of a new reality.

Baggar Vance Coaching
For anyone or any organization interested in improving their leadership or coaching capacity, this one day workshop introduces the philosophy underlying The Legend of Baggar Vance. The story is a modern day retelling of the Hindu epic Bhagavad Gita. Anyone who has ever been faced with adversity, challenged with a loss of confidence when it's needed most, or overwhelmed with too much technical know-how and negative self talk, can gain insight from this session. From the initial and periodic searching for an opening to listening for understanding, offering new distinctions, supporting clients or colleagues through behavioral change, and building in sustainability, this model depicts all of the key elements of a virtuoso level coaching performance
